About National University of Singapore
Singapore's national research institution is called the National University of Singapore (NUS). The nation's oldest independent institution, NUS was established in 1905 as the Straits Settlements and Federated Malay States Government Medical School. At both the undergraduate and graduate levels, it provides degree programs in a wide range of academic fields, including engineering, business, computing, music, design and the environment, law, arts and social sciences, and the sciences.
